Uniqode Makes Dynamic QR Codes Easy, Scalable, and Reliable

When our franchise system was just getting started about a year ago, we needed a consistent and trackable way to manage QR codes for all of our partners. We specifically wanted dynamic QR codes so we wouldn’t have to constantly reprint materials every time something changed. I initially asked an agency we were working with how we could implement this, and I’ll never forget their response: “What’s a dynamic QR code?” That’s when I realized it was something I’d need to take into my own hands. That’s when I found Uniqode, and it solved the problem immediately. It gave us a simple and scalable way to create and manage dynamic QR codes across our growing franchise system. The platform was easy to set up and integrate into our workflows, which made it simple to roll out across multiple partners without any friction. We use Uniqode regularly as part of our operations, and it’s been incredibly reliable. Being able to update destinations without reprinting codes has saved us a lot of time, money, and headaches. The tracking and management features also give us better visibility into how our QR codes are being used across our network. Overall, Uniqode has been an essential tool for helping us maintain consistency and flexibility as our franchise system grows. I’m really glad we made the switch early on.

Dynamic QR Codes

How Nicholas uses Uniqode

One code per franchise partner, tracked as one network.

01

The challenge

A franchise system's marketing runs through dozens of independent partners, each printing their own signage, van wraps and business cards. Any change to an offer, address or destination normally means a reprint everywhere it appears, unless the code behind it can be repointed. When Nicholas asked an outside agency how to solve this, their answer was that they didn't know what a dynamic QR code was, so he built the system himself.

02

The solution

The account is structured one code per franchise partner and territory, each carrying its own campaign so a partner's performance is visible on its own rather than folded into a network-wide total. Destinations can be updated without reprinting anything already in the field, and the whole set stays trackable from a single place as new partners come on.

03

How Nicholas puts it to work

One code per franchise partner and territory

Every partner gets a dedicated code named for their territory, so performance is visible partner-by-partner rather than averaged into a network total.

Every code carries its own campaign

All of the account's codes are individually campaign-tagged, giving each partner's materials their own trackable record from day one.

Destinations update without reprinting

Signage, van wraps and business cards already in the field keep working when the page behind the code changes, the problem that sent Nicholas looking for a dynamic solution in the first place.

Deliberately even distribution, not one hero code

No single code dominates scan activity. Engagement is spread across the network, evidence that adoption reaches beyond a handful of top partners.

04 · The outcome

Because engagement is spread deliberately across many partner codes rather than funneled through one flagship page, the account has built a wide, healthy footprint rather than a single dominant one, and it is still adding partners.
