How Bud uses Uniqode
One QR per product tier, so the right instructions meet the right buyer.
for total scan volume, across all Uniqode accounts
of all scans concentrated on a single placement
The challenge
A hardware company selling more than one version of the same product has a recurring problem the moment a customer opens the box: the setup instructions depend entirely on which tier they bought, and getting it wrong means a support call instead of a working product.
The solution
Bud split the account by exactly that logic: a dedicated quick-start code for the entry tier and a separate one for the higher tier, plus a third code carrying the sales video for people who haven't bought yet. Three codes, three distinct jobs, all set up in the same push when the account was created.
How Bud puts it to work
A quick-start code per product tier
The entry-level and higher-tier products each get their own on-product quick-start code, so a buyer lands on instructions for exactly what they own.
A separate code for selling, not supporting
A third code carries a sales video, kept apart from the support codes so it can be placed anywhere in the buying journey without confusing after-purchase traffic.
One placement already doing outsized work
Just over half the account's scans concentrate on a single code, an early signal of which tier or channel is pulling the most attention.

04 · The outcome
As a brand-new account, the story isn't scale yet. It's concentration. Just over half of all scan activity already lands on a single one of the three placements, meaning one of them is doing outsized work early, ahead of the account building broader history.
